About
New England & North West covers a large area of New South Wales, from Denman in the south to Tenterfield in the north, Glen Innes on the eastern boundary and Mungindi on the western boundary. Swimming New England and North West Inc. aims to conduct, encourage, promote and administer relevant swimming activities within the Area. Long course and short course Area Championships are held annually and are open to all registered swimmers. Swimmers registered outside New England & North West are considered visitors for the purposes of Area Championship meets. Many New England & North West Area clubs individually organise qualifying and development meets through both the short course and long course seasons. These are all approved by the Area and conducted under the rules of Swimming New South Wales.
